ABSTRACT

Abstract This study aimed to construct a tool for observing the imbalance pass in futsal through Microsoft Excel® software and to establish its content validity and intra- and interobserver reliability based on the calculation of the content validity coefficient (CVC) and the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). For the construction of the tool, futsal specialists (n = 10) with an average age of 44.1 ± 12.34 years and 19 ± 7.21 years of experience in the field participated in the study. 60% of the specialists have international-level expertise and 50% are active in practice and in academic field (higher education professor). According to the methodology, 23 items were proposed to assess the imbalance pass in futsal. CVC was calculated based on language clarity, practical pertinence and theoretical relevance for each item of the instrument and for the instrument as a whole; ICC was calculated based on intra- and interobserver agreement. Language clarity, practical pertinence and theoretical relevance revealed a result of 0.92, 0.93 and 0.95, respectively, and the values for intra- and interobserver agreement reliability were excellent according to the literature (> 0.75). Thus, it is concluded that the items proposed in the tool obtained satisfactory psychometric properties.

ABSTRACT

Abstract Collective efficacy, defined as a group's shared belief about its conjoint capability to organize and execute courses of action, plays a pivotal role in understanding the dynamics of sports teams, since it influences what individuals choose to do as team members, how much they invest in motivational terms to perform actions, how much they work collectively, and for how long they persist despite failure. Through a systematic review, it was investigated how collective efficacy has been assessed in the context of soccer and which indicators, attributes, and psychometric properties have been contemplated in the instruments used. Following the PRISMA guidelines, 22 articles were retrieved through electronic databases (APA PsycINFO; SPORTDiscus; Science Direct; BVS; Web of Science; Scopus; PubMed; and Scielo), using as descriptors, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, collective efficacy and soccer, combined by the Boolean operators AND and OR. The study did not delimit the initial year of publication for the searches carried out, including all articles found until January 14, 2021 (date of the last update). The following eligibility criteria were adopted: scientific articles published in journals; original studies, which specified the instrument used to assess collective efficacy and carried out with soccer athletes. Five instruments (FCEQ, CEQS, CEI, CEC, and CEQsoccer) that evaluated technical-tactical and psychological attributes associated with collective efficacy in soccer players were identified. In most studies, psychometric properties were restricted to content validity and reliability (internal consistency), and there were no suitable validation processes for the instruments used to measure collective efficacy, which can be considered a limiting factor for understanding this psychological construct in soccer modality.

ABSTRACT

Resultados: a Scopus retornou 107 artigos científicos, a Web of Science 79, a Pubmed 82 e a SciELO 8.

Objective: to carry out a bibliometric investigation in the literature on the subject of resistance training in elderly women. Methodology: we used bibliometrics in order to analyze the following variables: year of publication; authors with more publications; author's institution; country of the author's institution; title of the journal and the impact factor (JCR 2017). Four databases were used to search the scientific and technical literature, using the keywords: "Older Women" and "Resistance Training", publication dates (2012 to 2016) and full-text scientific articles published. After the duplication papers exclusion, a total of 152 scientific articles were included for the quantitative analysis. Results: Scopus returned 107 articles, Web of Science 79, Pubmed 82 and SciELO 8. The journals with the most publications quantified in each database were: the Experimental Gerontology (Scopus); Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (Web of Science); Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research (Pubmed); and the Brazilian Journal of Sports Medicine and the Brazilian Journal of Cineanthropometry & Human Performance (SciELO). The authors Cyrino, E. S., State University of Londrina, Brazil and Liu-Ambrose, T., University of British Columbia, Canada, were the most productive researchers with 15 and 11 publications, respectively. Conclusion: it was concluded that Brazil was the leading country in the scientific publication regarding resistance training in elderly women in the five-year period (2012 to 2016). The main institution was the State University of Londrina, located on Paraná state, with the Cyrino, E. S. the most productive researcher. It is important to mention the great contribution of researcher Liu-Ambrose. (AU)
